Live painting is a memorable experience that occurs in the moment, in time, providing a unique artwork to both document and commemorate your special occasion. It's a once in a lifetime memento of your special event that will be cherished for many years to come.
Having an artist do a live painting at your event is also a thrill for the guests – and is especially memorable for couples at their wedding or engagement party. There is nothing more fun than getting to see the painting started and even finished at the same event! [Scroll down for details!]
How It Works
After you book Anita Van Rooyen to live-paint your wedding or other event, Anita will arrive at the event location a few hours before the official start time in order to set up and complete the background for the painting. The foreground or main portion of the painting will be painted during your actual event!
Just like a photograph is a snapshot of a moment in time, so will be the painting – and you may request the type of scene Anita paints, such as the moment during the wedding ceremony when the couple kisses, or the couple’s first dance at the reception. Or you may leave the exact scene Anita paints up to her, and she will choose a moment and scene that best reflects the spirit and environment of your special day.

Four-Hour Session

If the location of the event being live-painted is more than 40 miles away from West Fork, Arkansas, an additional mileage fee will be added to the total cost for the painting, equal to the current federal mileage reimbursement rate.
For event locations greater than 75 miles from West Fork, Arkansas, an additional $150 travel fee will be included in the final price.
Two-Hour Session

If the location of the event being live-painted is more than 40 miles away from West Fork, Arkansas, an additional mileage fee will be added to the total cost for the painting, equal to the current federal mileage reimbursement rate.

Larger canvas paintings are available but require additional studio time after the event for Anita to finish painting your masterpiece. Contact us for a quote for the live painting of your dreams, in whatever size you want.
